Rivers are called lifelines for humans as well as for other living things. Most of the people in the world are dependent for drinking water on rivers. Even most of wild animals rely on rivers. But when rivers transform from mild, beautiful form to horrifying form only god can help you to save yourself.

Nile River

Worlds longest river Nile is major North flowing river in North-eastern Africa. Length of river is around 6650km. Nile is very beautiful river. But some of most dangerous species live in this river water which consists poisonous snakes, huge crocodiles, Insects and dangerous mosquitoes.

At some points flow of river is so much fast that even professional swimmers will knee down in respect of natures power.

Yellow River or Huang he

Second largest river in China and sixth largest river system in World also known as River of Sadness.

Estimated length of river is around 5464km.

This river changes its route around 26 times on its complete journey.

Flow of the river is so fast. Yellow river looks like uncontrollable monster when its flooded. Flooded river have capacity to carry away any thing with its flow.

Congo River

After Nile river, Congo is the second largest river in Africa with estimated length of 4370km.

Congo river formerly known as Zaire river during dictatorship of Mobutu Sese Seko.

This river is not only beautiful like snake but also dangerous like it. During its all journey, 75 miles of its flow travels through dangerous valley’s which are called “Hells Door” by African People and River is known as “Heart of Darkness”.

Red River

You can say beautiful or furious its all your choice. 

Total length of river is estimated around 2190 kms and majority of it falls in Southern America. Flow of river is so unpredictable that nobody can explain how it will turn with how much speed, hence its very dangerous to step in into this river.

This river is also unpredictable because of the cyclones present in its flow. At some places where water levels are low swamps increase its horrible unpredictability.

Brisbane river is attraction for many nature lover photographers. But River is mostly popular for many incidents of drowning people. Flood is also one of major reasons for calling this river dangerous.

Citarum River

Citarum river is the longest river in West Java, Indonesia. Estimated total length of river is around 270Km.

Its also known as one of most polluted river in the world. River is full of garbage, Trash and pollutants. Water of river is also very nasty and full of bacteria. Horrifying fact about this river is that, even though river is so polluted people living around are using this water for house hold work.

Indonesia government has started working on cleaning this river but as of now no concrete results are visible. 

Brahmaputra River

This river is also known as Yarlung Tsangpo in Tibet, Siang/Dihang River in Arunachal Pradesh and Luit, Dilao in Assam. This river flows through Tibet, India and Bangladesh.

It is Ninth largest river in world by discharge and 15th longest river with estimated length of 3969Km.

This is one of dangerous river because of very regular and common flooding during the monsoon season every year.

Effects of flooding are very dangerous causing significant crop damage, soil erosion, bank erosion. Also flooding affects home sheds, schools, lands and loss of many lives.

  

Yenisey River

It is fifth largest river in the world flowing through Russia and Estimated length of river is around 3487Km.
